Tree planting in Panama

This project aims to reverse the trend of deforestation, replant the region's natural forests, and strengthen ecosystems. The tree planting project spans several provinces in Panama, covering areas that together amount to over 3000 hectares. A total of more than 1.9 million trees have been planted during the project's duration, which not only sequesters carbon dioxide but also retains and secures water, reducing the risk of erosion. The project has so far contributed to a CO2e reduction of approximately 135,100 tons.
