The set consists of 5 colorful and illustrated blocks that can be stacked into a tower or used to create a city with a fire station, a hospital, and a police station, along with 3 accompanying vehicles made of pleasantly soft plastic that are clearly marked with the same colorful symbols as those on the cubes. The ambulance, police car, and fire truck fit smoothly inside even the smallest of the cubes, being pleasant to hold thanks to their soft contours, and the child can have fun driving them around separately as well. The different sides of the blocks are illustrated with educational images, including a room inside the various types of buildings they represent and a symbol for the community service or rescue service they represent, and they are also numbered with a digit that is illustrated by the same number of windows. The blocks are made of thick, durable cardboard and also have a window or door on one side to facilitate play with the cars inside. There are plenty of both heroic and everyday stories that can be told using this lovely set, and when playtime is over, the blocks can be placed inside each other in size order for easy and compact storage.
